Watch my stuff please
I confess: when strangers ask me to watch their stuff while they’re gone, I don’t.
“Could you watch my stuff for a few minutes while I’m gone?”
Uhm, how ’bout no? (but I’ll say yes if that gives you a sense of security)
The stuff-owner might be thinking: is that really too much to ask? My thoughts on this: Yes, it is. Let’s be real now, are the stuff-watchers really watching the stuff-owner’s stuff? It gets interesting when the stuff-watcher reassigns the task to someone else, because the stuff-owner takes too long to return. Look at the cascading, unnecessary stress you’ve caused, stuff-owner!
Stuff-owners, you are investing in a false sense of security. Please read the fine print next time:
Q: Could you watch my stuff?
A: Sure.*
* No.

Anyways, regarding stuff watchers. I think all stuff watchers should watch that new Will Smith movie. There’s a stuff owner/stuff watcher scenario in it. I think you’d appreciate it.
And I agree. Unnecessary stress for nothing.

If you’re out alone and have no one to help out, it’s no biggie but if you do NOT come RIGHT back, then you’re an idiot IMHO. I’ve watched stuff for people, too, but if they’re gone too long, tuff…. lol
